The Pickering Markets New Outlet Store – NOW OPEN

We have opened our new Outlet Store in the Pickering Markets as of Saturday Feb 5th, 2011. Thanks to all that came by last weekend to see what we had done. We had many positive comments from customers about how the different it was and that it was nice and bright. I guess the biggest difference between what we do and the previous British tenant is that we only do food and nothing esle. No Movies, Coronation Street, Flags, Football Jerseys etc. We do 1 commodity but do it very well.

To make things real simple at the Outlet Store  we have included taxes (PST & GST = HST 13%) on all those items that are taxable. So the price you see on the product or sign is the price you pay.

We have lots of opening deals that are exlusive to the Outlet Store and not availible on our On-line store. We have a Cadbury Flake 4 pack + 2 bonus = 6 Cadbury Flake for $6.00 (tax included), all Cadbury 230g Chocolate bars are $5.50. These are just a couple of the deals we have on for a limited time.

Walkers Crisps – More Crazy Flavors to Enjoy!

Well here they go again, Walkers that is. I would just like to inform all of our customers about the Walkers Flavour programme for Comic Relief.  This year Walkers will be supporting the BBC’s Red Nose Day this year by releasing four new flavours bearing the names of four famous British comedians.

These flavours will be Jimmy Con-Carne (Chili Con Carrne and Jimmy Carr’s flavour), Frank Roast Dinner (Frank Skinner’s flavour), Stephen Fry Up (Stephen Fry’s flavour) and Steak and Al Pie (Steak and Ale Pie and Al Murray’s flavour).

These flavours have been ordered and will have ETA of March 7th, 2011. So you can be the 1st to try them as we are pre-selling these from now until they arrive. Quantities are limited so you may not want to wait for them to arrive, but instead pre-order them thru our website SIMPLYBRITISHFOODS under snacks/walkers.

THE PICKERING MARKETS – OUTLET STORE

2012 is starting off with our 1st anniversary in February in the Pickering Markets, Pickering, Ontario of our SIMPLY BRITISH FOODS Outlet Store

Needless to say this opportunity to have a physical presence versus only our on-line presence. This has brought us many opportunities to show case what we do best and that is run a bricks and mortar shop, as this is in our blood. Having been a retailer for many years we do what we do best and that is display products and merchandise them in a simple, clear and easy shopping experience.

To find us at the Pickering Markets we are located inside the Antiques Entrance on the right hand side against the wall.

Some of things that you are be able to pick-up will be our range of cakes (Mr. Kipling, Cadbury, Heinz & Soreen). While your their and your thirsty you will also now be able to get a can of cold pop if you like (IRNBRU, Vimto, D&B, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, Lucozade).

We always have lots of better value promotions, specials and clearance products on offer each weekend that the Market is open. Also unlike or webstore all prices at the market already have the tax included to make things easy. The Pickering Market hours are 9 – 5 p.m. both Saturday & Sunday. Location is very easy to find and just south of the 401 at Bayly & Brock Road in Pickering at 1400 Squires Beach Road

We have a new chewy mint on-order and it will arrive Feb 10th, 2011. These almost look like skittles but with different colours and flavours.
